I just recently had to replace my windshield on my 2025, Nissan Rogue SV, due to an errant rock, striking it.Thankfully, I had added extra insurance coverage, through CalTex Protective Coverings Inc., on the... windshield, at the time I purchased it, via Valley Nissan, in Longmont, CO.The process to report the damage, and to get the windshield replaced, was so surprisingly easy, as the folks at CalTex, took control, and scheduled an appointment with Safelite, the local Windshield replacement professionals.... No problems whatsoever.... Within a few days, I drove out of Safelite, with a brand new, fully calibrated windshield....If I could give the kind folks at CalTex Protective Coverings Inc., ten stars, I would.... My rep was Omar and he was fabulous. My warranty was expiring about 6 weeks before I needed it for a torn leather seat. Omar assured me not to worry about the timing since I had a claim number. He was right. It took my... dealership about 7 weeks to get the seat and install it. Everything when smooth and my new seat looks great. The bonus was I didn’t have a deductible which the dealership couldn’t believe.read more
